Your redesigned platform is an entirely web-based application hosted in a virtual private cloud environment. To fully enable the features of the platform, the following are recommendations based on our experience with previous partners and their environments.
General
The platform supports current versions of Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox; that supports JavaScript ES6. Other browsers are also known to work but are not tested.
The platform features a responsive design user interface to support use on tablets and mobile devices.
The platform requires first-party cookies to be enabled. Refer to your browser’s Help section for information on how to change cookie settings.
The platform requires pop-ups to be allowed for certain applications like Common App and Peterson's Test Prep.
Desktop/Laptop – General Requirements
The recommendation is that partners use desktops, laptops or other devices that are no older than 6 years and has internet access.
Network/Firewall Configuration
Network configuration for communication with the system requires that the standard ports 80 (http – common web traffic) and 443 (https – secure web traffic) are open.
The broadband connection with a minimum 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload per user. Then we recommend minimum 25Mbps download and 5Mbps upload per user for the best user experience.
