How to Use Manual Override
To view this report, follow these steps:
Log in to OKCareerGuide using your admin credentials.
Navigate to the Reporting Home page.
Scroll down and open the Oklahoma ICAP Report.
Click the Manual Override Options button.
From there, educators are able to use the new Manual Override functionality to mark activities as complete that a student may have completed outside of the platform.
Marking a student as complete overrides system calculations and marks the required activity as complete for their current grade level and all preceding grades.
Note: Only district administrators may remove an override that they, or another admin, may have entered mistakenly.
For each record that gets manually changed, it will be reflected in two places:
An asterisk will appear in the report view next to the recorded number.
A record log will be kept to identify when the record was changed and who changed it.
Note: The overall ICAP Completion column cannot be manually overwritten. This column only gets updated when a student is in their senior year and has completed all required activities.
FAQ:
Q: Can I remove an override from the previous school year?
A: No, any overrides performed during the previous school year are not available to remove.
Q: By applying an override, how is the number calculated for a required activity?
A: When a manual override is completed, it bypasses system calculations and provides an input that catches a student's activity completions up to their current grade level.
