Log in to Navigator

On the left-hand menu, select Plan for Education

In the dropdown, select Search for Scholarships and Grants

The Local tab opens by default. (Select National to see national scholarships.)

Type in the Scholarship or sponsor name box to search

Under Who it's for, choose All local, Just my school, My whole district, or My whole state

Select Filter to narrow your results (for example, grade level, GPA, or type of college). Your filters are saved for the next time you visit. Select the x on a filter to remove it.

Select the name of a scholarship to view its details, including award amount, application deadline, eligibility, and description

Select the star icon to save the scholarship to your favorites

Select Apply on sponsor's site to open the sponsor's application. Applications are completed on the sponsor's website, not in Navigator.

From Search for Scholarships and Grants, select My Scholarship Applications

Select Add An Application to add a scholarship you are working on

Drag a scholarship card to another column to update its status: Started, Applied, or Final status

Your saved scholarships are listed under Favorited scholarships. Favoriting a scholarship does not add it to your applications; add it when you start an application.

On My Scholarship Applications, select Log an award from outside Navigator

Enter the Scholarship Name and Amount awarded (self-reported) (required)

Optionally, add the Application Deadline, Website, Status, and Description

Select Save. The award appears in your Final status column as self-reported.
