Access an overview of the features available to students within Kuder Navigator.

Navigator is tailored to the unique needs of each grade level (6-12) to help students learn about themselves, build an education plan, and prepare for options after high school.

The student dashboard features intuitive navigation that delivers content and activities in a proven career-centric pathway planning sequence.


View the features below included as part of the left-hand Navigator menu.

Take Assessments

Kuder’s assessments uncover what students like to do (interests), what they’re confident doing (skills), and what’s important to them in the workplace (work values).

Students can take the assessments as many times as they want Previous assessment results can be found in Assessment Results under the My Portfolio section.

Explore Occupations

Students can explore 1,000+ occupations organized by assessment results, clusters and pathways, and/or title. Clicking through the occupations can inform individuals about the average salary, education requirements, common tasks, and more. Occupations can be favorited easily revisit through the My Favorites section under My Portfolio.

Sections Include:

  • Occupations Suggested by Assessment Results

  • Occupations Related to a College Major

  • Occupations by Title

Explore Majors

Students can determine which college major is right for them by exploring their options using assessment results, occupations, and by title. Clicking into the major will also bring up a list of nearby schools that offer that major. Favorite majors to view easily through your My Favorites tab.

Plan for Education

Students can find out the education and/or training requirements for occupations of interest, find schools, learn about financial aid, search and apply for scholarships, and more.

Plan for Work

Students can view and complete a sample standard job application and learn about the job interview process, including the objectives and stages of a job interview, tips on how to prepare, common questions, recommended attire, and best practices for follow-up.

Find a Job

The system prepares students for the job search process by providing information about applications and interviews. Students can access their My Portfolio Items for additional job search tools to create resumes and cover letters and collect references as well as upload documents and build a shareable e-Profile.

Grad Plan

Allows students to track activities against district and state graduation requirements.

Education Plan

Students can build a four-year education plan utilizing courses pre-loaded into the system by your school to carefully craft a plan for review.

Work-Based Learning

Enables students to view opportunities approved by their school district or organization, request to participate, and manage ongoing required activities, including time tracking, reflections, and more.
