Learn how to utilize assessment results to explore education that may be needed for a desired career path and the institutions that offer related programming.
Explore Occupations
Navigate to the Explore Occupations tab in the left-hand menu of Navigator.
Utilize each of the following tabs to thoroughly review occupations aligned to your assessment results:
Occupations Suggested by Assessment Results
Occupations Suggested by National Career Clusters and Pathways or Holland Work Environments
Occupations Related to a College Major
Occupations by Title
Once you have favorited at least five occupations of interest, proceed to the following steps.
Explore Education
Go to the Explore Majors tab in the left-hand menu.
Review the following:
Majors Suggested by Assessment Results
Majors Related to Occupations
Majors by Title
Next, navigate to the Plan for Education tab in the left-hand menu.
Explore the following options:
Education Needed for My Favorite Occupations
Find Schools
Reflect on the education options aligned to your desired career field, and if any further education is required. Begin making a plan to achieve your goals.
Helpful Tips:
There are other ways to explore occupations. Try using the tab for Occupations Suggested by National Career Clusters and Pathways or Occupation by Title.
There is a star symbol that can be clicked to favorite the occupations you are most interested in. You can view your list in the My Favorites tab.
