Educators: Types of Admin Roles within Kuder Navigator

Review available user roles and understand how Kuder Navigator can be used by the various members of your school district and community.

User roles within the new admin experience have been transitioned from the existing ADMS permissions or for those now logging in via Clever, shared by your role within Clever. Learn how to view your assigned user role.

District Administrator

District Administrators have the ability to perform the following tasks for all schools within the district:

  • Invite & Approve All User Types

  • Create & Approve Education Plans

  • Create & Approve Grad Plans

  • Review & Export Reports

  • Create Groups

  • Invite Students' Family Members

  • Transition Users (Non-Clever)

  • View N-codes

Examples of a district administrator may include directors of instructional services, CTE program coordinators, or directors of secondary learning.

In Clever, this role is typically one of the following: District Curriculum Lead, District Help Desk or Clever Admin.

Note: The person primarily responsible for Kuder at your district will be assigned to a district administrator role.


Local Administrator

Local Administrators have the ability to perform the following tasks at either one school or multiple within the district:

  • Create & Approve Education Plans

  • Create & Approve Grad Plans

  • Review & Export Reports

  • Create Groups

  • Invite Students' Family Members

  • Transition Users (Non-Clever)

  • View N-codes

Examples of a Local Administrator may include career coaches or advisors, instructional coaches, school administrators, school counselors, and more.

In Clever, this role is listed as Staff.


Educator

Educators have the ability to perform the following tasks at a single school:

  • Approve Education Plans

  • Approve Grad Plans

  • Review & Export Reports

  • Create Groups

  • Invite Students' Family Members

Examples of an Educator may include School-to-Work teachers, English teachers, ESL teachers, and more.

In Clever, this role is listed as Teacher.


Regional Administrator

Regional Administrators have the ability to perform the following tasks for all schools within the districts that they are assigned:

  • Access Multiple Districts with One Account

  • Create & Approve Education Plans

  • Create & Approve Grad Plans

  • Review & Export Reports

  • Create Groups

  • Invite Students' Family Members

  • Transition Users (Non-Clever)

  • View N-codes

Examples of a regional administrator may include educators at a technology center that assist multiple districts or a counselor that serves multiple districts.


Partner Level Work-Based Learning Advisor (Connect 2 Business only)

Partner Level WBL Advisors have the ability to perform the following tasks within Kuder Navigator for C2B:

  • Approve or deny business partners

  • Upload multiple business partners

  • View business partner profiles created on behalf of Business

  • view opportunities submitted by business partners

  • Create opportunities and assign them to businesses (but not to Business Partner Profiles)

  • Approve opportunities for students

  • Customize WBL type requirements and evaluation questions

  • Create job postings and manage Jobs Board

Examples of a Partner Level WBL Advisor may include a State CTE Director or a District CTE Director.


Work-Based Learning Advisor (Connect 2 Business only)

WBL Advisors have the ability to perform the following tasks within Kuder Navigator for C2B:

  • View business partner profiles

  • See all approved business partners

  • Determine Opportunities presented to students

  • View opportunities submitted by business partners

  • Create opportunities and assign them to business partners

  • Approve opportunities for students to view and select

  • Assign opportunities to students

  • View WBL type requirements and evaluation questions

  • Approve or Deny opportunity selections done by students

  • Communicate and schedule student opportunity requests

Examples of a WBL Advisor may include a District CTE Director or a High School Counselor.

Note: Only District Admins and Local Admins can be assigned WBL attributes in Navigator


Work-Based Learning Business Partner (Connect 2 Business only)

WBL Business Partners have the ability to perform the following tasks within C2B:

  • Create and edit the business partner profile

  • Select WBL opportunity types offered

  • Create opportunities available to students

  • Outline requirements per opportunity

Examples of a WBL Business Partner is an individual from a local business that is offering experiences that meet state WBL requirements.
