Educators: How to View and Report on Student Goals

Learn how Educators in Kuder Navigator for Admins can report on student goals and track their progress.

There are multiple ways that educators can report on goal completion and navigate to student details to see the individual goals and progress that a student has made.


Goals Summary Report

The goals summary report shows a list of all students and what type of goals have been marked as complete.

  1. On the Reporting Home page select the Goals Summary Report

  2. Filter by School, Group or Grade Level or Search for a students name

  3. Select a students name to go to their student details and view their goals

  4. Each goal will be labeled as In Progress or Complete

  5. On the right side of the goal select the carrot to expand the steps of each goal to view a students progress towards completion


Finding Goals on the Student Profile

When viewing the student profile an educator can navigate to the students specific goals to view the goal, the steps to each goal, completion and progress.

  1. Select the magnifying glass on the top navigation bar

  2. Search for the needed student

  3. Select the students name to open the student details

  4. Select Plan

  5. Select Goals

  6. Each goal will be labeled as In Progress or Complete

  7. On the right side of the goal select the carrot to expand the steps of each goal to view a students progress towards completion


Using Graduation Plan Detail to Report on Goals

The Graduation Plan Detail report shows the total amount of students in a certain school and grade that have completed an assigned goal task.

Note: This report is only available to districts that have setup the Grad Plan functionality. Please reach out to our support team for help to setup this feature!

  1. On the Reporting Home page select Graduation Plan Detail or ICAP Detail

  2. Select the School and Grade to view a set of students

  3. Select the Grade the task is assigned to be completed in or Before Graduation Tasks if no specific grades are assigned

  4. Select the type of goal to view the list of students

    1. Academic Goal

    2. Career Goal

    3. Personal Goal

  5. The list of students shows the name and grade of the student and the date the goal was completed

  6. The list of students can be filtered to Complete or Incomplete

    1. The complete status means that the student has made a goal, it does not matter if the goal has been marked as complete by the student

  7. Selecting a name of the student will bring you to the Graduation Plan section in student details


Using Student Activity to Report on Goals

The student activity report shows a quick view of what a student has completed in Kuder Navigator. If a student has made a goal there will be a green check mark in the goal column.

  1. On the Reporting Home page select Student Activity

  2. Filter by School, Group or Grade Level or Search for a students name

    1. Optional: Hide other columns to only see progress on Goals

  3. Click on the Goals column to sort by Completed and Incomplete Goals

  4. Select the green check mark under the goals column in the row of the students name to go to their student details and view their goals
