Learn how to send email communications to parents and students using your Navigator for Admins account.

What is the 'Send an Email' feature in my Navigator for Admins account.

The Send an Email feature is an additional feature that allows administrators to send emails to individual or bulk emails to students and/or parents. Parent contact information must first must be uploaded into the system using the students ID. If your district does not share student IDs, then the parent email will not be available. However, these districts can still send emails out of their accounts to students.


How to Send Email Communication to Students

An administrator who has been assigned the permissions that give the ability to send email through their administrator account will have access to this feature.

  1. Select Additional Resources in the left-hand menu

  2. Select Messaging Center from the drop-down

  3. Select the Send an Email section from the top of the page

  4. Select the Student(s) or Group(s) needing an email communication

  5. Select Create Email

  6. Add Subject (Maxx 100 Characters)

  7. Add Message (Max 1500 Characters)

    1. Email will send in .html format so please paste links not hyperlinked text

  8. Select Audience: Students

  9. Select Review

  10. Preview Email Message

    1. Select Edit if you need to make changes

  11. Select Send Email

  12. Email will be delivered to the recipients as your name with the email address <donotreply@kudermail.com>

  13. If the student or parent replies to the email, it will be sent to the admins email as it is listed in Navigator for Admins


How to Send Email Communication to Parents

An administrator who has been assigned the permissions that give the ability to send email through their administrator account and have parent contact information loaded into the system will have access to this feature.

  1. Select Additional Resources in the left-hand menu

  2. Select Messaging Center from the drop-down

  3. Select the Send an Email section from the top of the page

  4. Select the Student(s) or Group(s) needing an email communication

  5. Select Create Email

  6. Add Subject (Maxx 100 Characters)

  7. Add Message (Max 1500 Characters

    1. Email will send in .html format so please paste links not hyperlinked text

  8. Select Audience: Parents

  9. Select Review

  10. Preview Email Message

  11. Select Send Email

How to View Email Send History

  1. Select Additional Resources in the left-hand menu

  2. Select Messaging Center from the drop-down

  3. Select the Sent Messages section from the top of the page

  4. Select the Emails tab

  5. All sent email records will be displayed in this table.

  6. Select the number in the # of Recipients column to view a list of the recipients
